Christmas came early this year when one of my closest friends, Amy, suprised me with a ticket to see Erykah Badu at Kings Theatre. The show was everything you’d expect: positive, soulful, and revolutionary. Her mix of new and old material left the audience feeling well fed.
Luckily, she didn’t stop there. After the show, DJ Lo Down Lorette Brown (aka E Badu) spun until 3A.M. at Divera Drive in Williamsburg.
